Who We Are

Stacy M. Leistner
Founder

Stacy is a lifelong storyteller with a passion for people and parties. Guided by the belief that “it’s not work if you love what you do,” he founded The TAGS Group in 2014 to help people, organizations, and causes deliver messages that matter.

Stacy thrives on keeping moving parts in rhythm and finding smart, human ways to connect in a fast-changing world. He brings the kind of big-picture perspective that comes from more than two decades of in-house roles as a communications leader—aligning strategies, teams, budgets, and partners. His path has been shaped by curiosity, connection, and a strong work ethic learned on a family farm in the Midwest. After earning degrees in business and communications and training in design, he built his career in the nonprofit sector—first as a project manager, then as a communications counsel overseeing media relations and crisis communications, as well as education and events.

His approach is hands-on, collaborative, and rooted in partnership. Throughout his career, Stacy has supported industries from healthcare and education to the visual and performing arts, fashion, finance, and consumer products. He has developed strategic campaigns, created and managed digital and print communications, and produced a fantastic array of business, fundraising, and social events nationwide and abroad.

Stacy’s favorite moments are when words and experiences come together to help clients share their stories clearly and powerfully. (Walks on the beach aren’t so bad either.)

CJ Johnson
Event Producer

CJ excels at turning ideas into experiences, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. At TAGS, she leads on-the-ground logistics to ensure every detail aligns with the story being told. She also specializes in on-site fundraising operations, including silent and live auctions, paddle raises, bidder support, spotter coordination, and reconciliation procedures. With a performer’s background and proven production experience, she ensures events run flawlessly from first sketch to final applause.

Stine Miljus Moen
Project Manager and Vendor Coordinator

Stine is our back-of-house magician, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships pre- and post-event and, most importantly, while on site. She coordinates estimates and contracts, oversees vendor communications, and keeps internal teams aligned so every element stays on schedule and on budget. Known for her calm precision and big-picture awareness, Stine makes sure every moving part behind the scenes and throughout the event runs seamlessly.

Chelsea Parker
Event Assistant

Chelsea keeps her focus on the guest experience. Calm, organized, and attentive, she supports pre-event preparation and on-site execution. She organizes our run-of-show checklists, manages registration, and provides real-time support for auctions and paddle raises, including bidder check-in and item display. Chelsea keeps front-of-house touchpoints efficient and guests smiling.
